A. bit spotted by mold or the minerals in our water, this poinsettia nonetheless has survived Christmas to bloom amidst the Dusty Miller in the front garden of my house.

    I remember my dad had a poinsettia that looked like it was dead, until he put it next to the garbage can, where it thrived! For months! I don’t remember its final fate, but I do remember watching it grow.
