This little guy rapped loudly on some tree in the neighborhood until I finally went out to see where he was. But, the minute I went out the door, he would freeze and become invisible. Finally, however, I caught him doing his business, whereupon he promptly flew away and has not returned. Here he is eighty feet up in the tree.

I like them, Judy. You presented these in a different way, a way others may have overlooked. I really like the first shot of everyone looking to see what they might have missed, the walking stick and the shots with the mops. I also liked the one where you asked if it were a caterpillar or part of the flower. Lots of fun! Thanks for joining.

What was really happening in the first photo was that we were teaching the kids in our summer camp to do the hokey pokey and they were putting their heads in! Ha. It just seemed to illustrate the theme if you didn’t know what was actually going on.

I can’t remember now how I happened to find it. I believe it crawled out of a shell I had picked up on the beach and carried back to my room–which was actually a treehouse near the beach! So cool.
