Oh Wow~! That first one of the two palm trees has a branch at the top of the lower left tree showing me standing by another dead tree “relieving myself”, as sometimes happens out here in this lonely place where no one can ever see us, with so many trees, as Tami will also tell you~!

Or a rather seedy mind, but I need a laugh once in a while,,,or maybe twice~! Things are slow this morning, but it is only 86 right now usually it has been over 100 by this time of the day.

I hope all is well down there, that was a terrible bus accident near Sinaloa, to the north of you. I once was behind a big truckload of cattle that ran off into a canyon just west of Durango and it was an awful mess, with dead cows all over the place.. A Terrible memory from long ago~!

I will have to check the accident out. Hadn’t heard of it. Just had a terrible morning followed by a wonderful afternoon. Everyone who visited my house was charming, Pasiano and Yolanda were a big help as per usual and then we all went to Viva Mexico for a delicious meal and wonderful conversation. On the other hand, this morning I was rushing to get ready..Got all showered, hair dried and styled, makeup on, then noticed the pool was full so I went out to turn off water. When I did, the pipe burst, spraying hot hot water right into my face and all over me..I was screaming help to Pasiano because I didn’t know where to turn off the water to the pipe. The neighbors rushed to the wall to see who was being killed. I hyperventilated because I had so much to do. i was mending a chaise cushion Zoe had ripped apart, 1/2 hr. until people arrived and I had to get ready again..redry hair, makeup, change clothes.. As I came in the phone was ringing but I didn’t make it in time. When I saw who had called, knew I had to call back no matter what. It was a friend in Santa Cruz calling to tell me his darling wife Wendy had died. Made the makeup/hair debacle fade to zero importance, but add swollen red eyes. She is the wonderful woman Morrie lay with all afternoon the day of my Candelaria party. She was ill then. So so sad but the folks who came to see my house and art were a wonderful bunch and although it didn’t wipe out Wendy’s death, it certainly wiped out the pipe burst debacle and the ruined cushion. They were all cheerful and talkative and art-appreciators so feel I made 11 new friends in addition for the 12th whom I’d known for 22 years. We went to Viva Mexico and had wonderful conversations. Life ebbs and floes. Dear friends lost, new ones made. Went and picked up the two little doggies at Yolanda’s and returned home to find she’d put everything away–including chair cushions so Zoe wouldn’t eat them, plus food and wine and coffee and Jamaica..My house restored to fine order. Picked up Morrie next door and came home to sink into my desk chair and write this. R.I.P. dear Wendy.

Sorry to hear about Windy. I went looking up old highschool friends and the are all dead now~! They get so scattered that you never know when the pass on until a long time later. None of the ladies that I dated before marriage are still living.. I outlived them all~!

How hot is the water coming out directly out of the pipe~? Did you get burned~? Sounds like you need a glass of wine and turn in early this evening like I am fixing to do.. We both need to do more of that.

I thought that i had a problem solved but it turned out not as good as I hoped. My kids are trying to get me to sell my place and move into town. I am determined not to. So I am looking for someone to stay in the barn (guest house) to be here for me. That is not easy as I do not want to just have anyone staying that close to me. Thought a friend had agreed to do this as she needed a place to stay free, and I needed her nearby, but that fell through, because she decided that she did not want to be “so far out of town~!”. Dumb woman, I would have saved her more than $1K per month~! I do just fine here but can not find workers beyond the maids. The men are all working in construction or not worth a damn~! I just want someone around in case I have an emergency. More on that problem (privately).
