I love this tender moment captured at the anniversary party of friends.
Observing
Violins
The oldest couple ever to file for a marriage license in Texas. At 91, he married an older woman! They lived a block away from me and were two of my favorite people.
Only one thing I miss; titles under those of interest would be a great addition. I enjoyed the massage about the older couple who were your neighbors, but often wish I knew more of some of your photos. I do live for such things, like reading a good book; a good set of photos with captions is just as interesting.
Guessing, as I did with you and your sisters was fun, but not everyone takes the time to figure such things out.
When I put captions under the gallery photos, WP runs those in my initial posting instead of the copy I want to show up so I’ve started erasing the captions..A problem in their organization..
Sam, I readded the captions just for you, but if you view through Notifications, you’ll see what the problem is. Instead of showing the first words of the post itself, they duplicate the captions which is confusing. Have a look at the post again to see the captions.
Oh Judy I was not making a complaint, that is something I always try not to do, this is supposed to be a fun thing. On my photos that need a comment, I just add each paragraph within the write-up, in-between the photos. So it does become a part of the whole.
I guess because you have so many photos to post, you do them all at the same time.. I am adding them as a part of the story with a paragraph inserted in between. Another way is to give them a pseudo number and then give the explanation at the end as you did here with the older couple/friends. So your photo part is posted and any other comments come as an addendum.
You are so prolific that you may not want to take the time to “please me”, and I understand that~! For me it is always less photos, but more Talk~! (I never stop)
On more or less the same subject, I did read and re-read your story of moving to Mexico, then looked at it and said to “ME” I can’t post this as it may be taken as a negative edit. So I did it twice more and still did not like what I said.
So I have written a completely different post about classic books and what I like and don’t like about some of our greatest publications. This worked and I will post that discombobulated post as soon as I do some much-needed edits on my work. It says nothing at all about your Mexico writing. It is just comments on what I find great and what I find difficult to read on the Classics. Some of our greatest classics (drove me crazy) in Classic Literature Classes in school~!
That older lady was younger than I am!!! I thought she was in her nineties at least. I am 76….The girl was her daughter. They were mother and sister of the bride pictured in another photo.
All perfect~! Judy if you took those, you show another talent, that of a photographer beyond normal. Thanks for posting those, I enjoyed all of them.
