Is that second picture salt drying~? It seems that I remember that the lake had a very high mineral content due to not having an outlet, like the Dead Sea and Salt Lake City.
And it is hot volcanic water from Colima.. High sulfur and other minerals. Dries white on the hot tub cover. But, that said, this is a painted design on an African Bobo mask.
For this one street festival, they always have flour fights.. both those in the crowd and people on floats. If it ever rained and then got hot the town would be one big oddly shaped bread roll!
Sofia, I patterned the colors in my house around that church. The designs and colors around the entry and departure doors in the front of my house are taken from photos I took of this church. It is done entirely in Mexican motifs. Even the sculptures inside are of Mexican faces. I love these three churches decorated by Rodolfo Morales in Oaxaca.
Oh I love these pictures

Great collection Judy. I love the pillow color, the church and the Queen Victoria Agave. There is nothing more impeccable that plant. Very nice.

They love to pose.. even when no photos are being taken. Luckily, they were being taken when these poses occurred.
