- Okay! I am initiating a new prompt call “The Numbers Game.” For years I’ve been noticing that when I do a search according to the number of a photo I’m looking for either in my WordPress Media file or in my Photos file on my computer, that I come up with a bunch of photos with the same number. It finally occurred to me that it would be fun to publish them and to ask others to do the same. So, the first number I am going to use is 9909. To play along, go to your photos file and type that number into the search bar. Then post all the photos you find and include a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day. Below are my 9909 photos:

To play along, just post a link to your blog with your photos numbered 9909 in the comments section below. I’ll publish a new number daily.
A diverse collection Judy. I’ll give it a try.

Sounds like a fun game, and these are terrific photos. I’ll join the game when we are back on land.

Where are you now? In the air or on the sea?

I’m assuming you did this on a laptop? I work primarily from my IPad, so I’m not sure how I’d get the number.

When I pulled the photos off your blog onto my desktop, they all had numbers, Kim. If you look in your media file on your blog and search by a number it should pull up all the photos that have that same number. img_9112 was the number of your earrings.

This is the only one that showed up under that number, and it’s recent.

But it is adorable. Your dog is such a nifty dresser. Cute trio. Thanks for being the first to play along.

Actually, that’s my new found sister’s daughter and her dog, Wilson! Isn’t he the cutest? The guy, Sean is her boyfriend. ☺️
I was happy to do it! You have a Happy New Year!🎊🎆

Your new found sister sounds like a story.

It is. She was the baby my mom had to give up for adoption. All of my 4 sisters are half-sisters, but I never thought of them that way. Even though we weren’t raised together, they’re still my sisters.
Anyway, I had never met this one, Barb, until our travels brought us to Florida. Of course, I knew in advance where she lived, so we got a place near there so we could meet! And we’ve spent this month, in a few short visits, getting to know each other. It’s been wonderful! And when I’m better, we will spend more time-quality time-together. ☺️

That is amazing. You must both be so excited. Have you found some big similarities in your personalities and interests?

Yes! And we even favor each other a bit!
Her family is awesome, I have such a crush on her daughter! She’s so cute and talented!
We get along like friends that have known each other forever!

Sorry can’t contribute to this innovative challenge Judy. I name all my files for my filing system. It will interesting to see what some people can come up with.
You have a good variety 🙂

Oh no. I was really looking forward to yours.. So,can I give you a word instead… or two words?

Words will work. You could ask for a number and/or word, that way all bases covered and maybe a few more contributions 🙂

Are your names usually just one or two words or are they more like sentences?

Just descriptors, but general words like “flower” will turn up a bazillion photos. Probably the same with colours.
Like todays Monday Macro is “monday-macro-bees-flower” There are a lot of photos in all four of those words as it covers monday (which will pick up Monday Window, Macro Monday, Monday Portrait) also so many macro photos as well as bees and flowers.
Does this make sense 🤔

Cool idea! but for me to play along, you’re going to have to pick some lower numbers. I’m only up to about 5000 on my big camera, 2000 on my cell phone.

That’s just what I was thinking. Why don’t you pick the number for tomorrow?

Hi Judy,
my media photos aren’t numbered so this didn’t work for me. I use a laptop and there are 15,333 images on my media file, but they are all titled. Is there somewhere else I can look for the number?

I read about your challenge on another blog. I put in a number and yes … see pictures popping up. I may try on a few days. 🙂

I found ONE photo that included that number, but it isn’t my photos — it’s Rich’s. I’ll try to check each day.
