I love the bizarre beauty of this Royal Poinciana. Sadly, the tree had to be removed due to root rot, but I’ve planted another. Only 22 more years to go until it equals this one!!!

Just as the phrase “What IS that flower” were forming in my head, you answered the question. We’ve lost a lot of tree this year, most due to a year of full drought followed by a year of drowning. Plants don’t LIKE that. Neither do I!
