A fuse has blown in the house and someone has replaced it with a coin..Dangerous, but it completes the circuit. Problem is, if there is a short, it won’t be blown so can start a fire. Now that they have flip switches in fuseboxes, this can’t be done. Wish I could remember where I saw this but I’ve been wanting to use it so this was the perfect prompt for it.
Very interesting collection

Great collection Judy, but don’t have any idea what the first one can be.

In photo # 1 I hope it is not what it looks like it is.. A coin taking the place of a fuse that is blown. A sure way of setting your house on fire~!
