How appropriate. Looks like a “Strawberry Moon” Hibiscus.
Rising tonight on the Solstice, felt like a good sign.

I spent the day, exhaustingly, standing in line and walking far too much in Guad. Trying to get my inmigrado and tax numbers straightened out. This is my third try. Got up at 5 a.m., got home at 5:30 p.m. and fell into bed..woke up again at 11:30 p.m. Used to take these things in my stride, but no longer…

Laurie, I tried to find a photo of a “Strawberry Moon” hibiscus but could only find a hybrid mix that was a blend of it and another hibiscus. I love that name and will accept your classification. This is one of my favorite hibiscus flowers. I must have 5 or 6 varieties. Can’t remember if i was able to grow them in Boulder Creek. oxox

It was an interesting light.. I believe by the sun through palm fronds. I liked the effect as well. Thanks, Derrick.

Hibiscus are wonderful. Is the plural hibisci?

I think the same thing every time I publish more than one at a time and look it up to discover: noun. , plural hi·bis·cus·es.
