I spotted this rabbit who seemed unspooked in spite of the constant barking of a dog in the background. Then I noticed why the rabbit, unlike the dog, was unperturbed.

        They can easily go underneath. We put up a new fence because the rabbits were digging under the old one and grass was growing on both sides of the fence. Now there’s an 8-inch gap in the fence that allows rabbits to get through, and more importantly, allows a trimmer to cut the grass next to, and under, the fence. Our lawn looks a lot neater.
