Welcome to “The Numbers Game #38”. Today’s number is 159. To play along, go to your photos file and type that number into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find under that number and include a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day. If instead of numbers, you have changed the identifiers of all your photos into words, pick a word or words to use instead, and show us a variety of photos that contain that word in the title.
This prompt will repeat each Monday with a new number. If you want to play along, please put a link to your blog in comments below. Below are my contributions to the album:

Oh, my! You’ve got some powerful images here! Like the first one! And there are some that I wish I had more information about. So I’m just going to make up some stories. Like #20–these are your friends doing a Thriller video remake.

Ha..This was actually a day trip I took via bus..and I can’t for the life of me remember what we were responding to to create this combined pose…We were walking to see something and something happened. I’m not much of a storyteller on this one.

My friend can’t remember what we had left the bus to go see, either, but she says a sudden very strong wind came up that we were trying to walk into and that is our spontaneous response to it. It does look like the Thriller dance, though, which I went through all the rehearsals for another year but then missed the performance because I was evacuated from my house due to the fears of a massive landslide and was busy getting my animals and a few necessaries and papers out of my house. The landslide never happened, but one did happen in the road approaching the “safe house” of a friend that I was going to! Story after story….

So those are baby stalactites hanging down. I have never heard of these beautiful caves and underground lakes before. If I’d know, I would have visited them long ago. Don’t know if I have the stamina now…

That photo of the volcano blowing off steam is quite impressive.

Oops.. I misidentified the volcano. This is actually Colima volcano, which I can see from my house. I’m further away than this, however, which was a venting I caught when I was driving to the city of Colima for an art retreat. Two different times, I caught it just as it was venting.

It took awhile to figure out that snail! I thought it was an upright sculpture and that the top upright part was of silver!

I’m glad you liked these. Yes, snails are interesting creatures aren’t they! This one was traveling along the brick wall. How they stick to it I don’t know. haha 🙂

I like them unless it is my hibiscus flowers they are clinging to!
