Welcome to “The Numbers Game #44”. Today’s number is 165. To play along, go to your photos file and type that number into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find under that number and include a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day. If instead of numbers, you have changed the identifiers of all your photos into words, pick a word or words to use instead, and show us a variety of photos that contain that word in the title.
This prompt will repeat each Monday with a new number. If you want to play along, please put a link to your blog in comments below. Below are my contributions to the album:

Superb selection… although the reclining body with the iguana head is a wee bittie disturbing 😳😂 Here’s mine: https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2024/10/21/numbers-game-44-165/

Her sculptures are amazing, as are her husband’s. I have at least 6 of them. One of a raven, unfortunately, was stolen off my wall.

What on earth is that figure in No. 5?

It is a clay sculpture by Laurie Hennig, a California artist. It is the figure of a woman with the head of an iguana. I have one she did of the body of a woman and the head of a dog. She’s an amazing artist, as is her husband Dan, her son Ivan and his wife Jen. They are friends from Boulder Creek, where I lived for 14 years.

That sexy lizard actually belongs to my friend Sharon, but it was made by another friend, Laurie. It is pretty primly sexy!!

What an interesting collection of photos you have this week. I’ve tried posting from my phone but I get a very small collection of photos to choose from so I have to go to my desktop to get a better selection.

I love that defiant sunflower. And the bird with the fish – is that a Caracara?
