It has been a long time since I included photos of Lantana in my FOTD. I removed all of the bushes when I noticed the dogs were “grazing” on them as I’d discovered they were poisonous to dogs. I did plant one outside the wall in front of my huse and just noticed it when I was checking out the growth there. They grow to tree size in Mexico, sometimes, but so far this plant has curbed its growth. So glad to see one still on my property. They are so hearty and in California I had lots of them in the lower garden as they were deer resistant and also most insects.

They are very pretty too.

I think they grow pretty well all over–at least in the places I’ve lived in the midwestern and western U.S., Australia, Ethiopia and Mexico..
