I know. I took the photo when I was on a land trip during a cruise of the Amalfi coast not knowing what it really was. When I found it while surfing my photo files, for this prompt, I googled it and found out it was a famous ceramics factory
Interesting photos! What is for sale in the skeleton store? Items for Day of the Dead? And the most interesting is the dog on the roof, and maybe the lady below is looking for him but doesn’t look up to see him. haha 🙂
That store sells frames and metalwork of any kind. They’ve made boxes for my retablos, framed paintings, made glass display boxes. The name of the store is Viluma. They just have the decoration up for Day of the Dead. As for the dog, that’s why I chose that photo as well. Many houses and businesses have roof dogs. They form security for the building.
Thanks, Judy! That’s interesting about the roof dogs! Good idea! And wonderful you’ve found a place like the frame work to make custom items for you when needed. I liked their storefront. 🙂
Well done for making an interesting gallery for a difficult prompt

It was difficult, Derrick. I was afraid I wouldn’t find much of interest, then decided to go for a different slant on the assignment.

Color is one of the pleasures of Mexico, but I found a bit of it in Missouri as well.

You collected a very interesting group of store fronts and buildings. I’m fascinated by the ceramics factory.

Thanks, Sadje. Hard to find unusual commercial buildings, I found, until I decided to concentrate mainly on my home town and to look for the stories.

Buildings in America look the same everywhere. The ones in Mexico are unique
