About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

I know. I took the photo when I was on a land trip during a cruise of the Amalfi coast not knowing what it really was. When I found it while surfing my photo files, for this prompt, I googled it and found out it was a famous ceramics factory

Interesting photos! What is for sale in the skeleton store? Items for Day of the Dead? And the most interesting is the dog on the roof, and maybe the lady below is looking for him but doesn’t look up to see him. haha 🙂

That store sells frames and metalwork of any kind. They’ve made boxes for my retablos, framed paintings, made glass display boxes. The name of the store is Viluma. They just have the decoration up for Day of the Dead. As for the dog, that’s why I chose that photo as well. Many houses and businesses have roof dogs. They form security for the building.
