This is a fabulous photo. I love Bougainvillea, it reminds me of my childhood. I grew up in Zambia and we had hedges of Bougainvillea all around the garden, it was beautiful.

i know what you mean about flowers recalling childhood. For me it was sweetpeas, trumpet vine, hollyhocks and Sweet Williams.
