R.I.P. my dear departed royal poinciana tree. The most beautiful of trees lakeside. I’ve planted a new one that is still very small. May it be as beautiful and as huge as this one grew to be.
For Cee’s FOTD

Help!!! What has happened to The Reader? I can only get one person’s entire blog. None of the other people I subscribe to…such as yourself.. show up!!! It used to be whoever posted last was at the top and it scrolled down to everyone who posted. Has this happened on yours as well?

Absolutely gorgeous! May it have a long life like the previous one and bring you tons of joy.

I hope, but I probably won’t live long enough to see it grown as big as the first one. That’s a sobering thought.

That IS a sobering thought. I will amend my wishes thus: may it have a long life like the previous one and bring you joy for all of your days.
And – may all of your days, however many, be filled with flowers, love, reflection, and wisdom.
