We entered the harbor at 6 AM to this enchanting view.
50th Class Reunion
More Class Reunion
Morrie is a real scholar. He absolutely devours books.
He even knows how to open dresser drawers to get at more of them.
Welcome to “The Numbers Game #63.” Today’s number is 184. To play along, go to your photos file and type that number into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find that include that number and post a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day. If instead of numbers, you have changed the identifiers of all your photos into words, pick a word or words to use instead, and show us a variety of photos that contain that word in the title. This prompt will repeat each Monday with a new number. If you want to play along, please put a link to your blog in comments below. Here are my contributions to the album.
Right after Morrie was abandoned and came to live with me, he fell off the roof and broke his hip so he had to be sequestered in a room with no furniture so he wouldn’t jump up on it or fall off and hurt his hip again. The only piece of furniture I left was a set of drawers with a big mirror on it. He managed to get the drawer open and to consume the colors and books inside it.. then got the door to the closet open and destoryed 14 rolls of toilet paper. Then pulled the drapes down. That was an interesting time. He’s a good boy but was very destructive because of his boredome and lack of outlets. I did make a run outside the door of the room with locked gates on either end so he could go outside but he just couldn’t do anything that would dislodge his hip.
More weird and wonderful photos Judy. I like that I look and look again at some and am still puzzled like that blue sort of bag/wrapping and a blindfolded woman 🤔
Brian, I left an answer to your question but don’t see that it was directed toward you in comments so have a look at the post again and look for my answer to your questions.
That is one that sneaked through. I usually only post photos I’ve taken myself but this one is one I borrowed from the internet that somehow got into my photo file. I checked it out and it was actually posted on a number of sites so I don’t know the proper attribution. Obviously, I liked it, too!

Go here for an explanation for that blue bag/wrapping. An interesting story: https://judydykstrabrown.com/2013/05/06/scissors-tissue-paper-and-general-macarthur/
I think I’d just given Yolanda a face mask during covid and she’d pulled it up over her eyes..It does look sinister but wasn’t!!!

I thought it was Yolanda and was hoping a pinata was involved 😂

Shots of your woodcarving studio/shop always make me nostalgic with memories of Bob’s, Lou.

Another great mix. Love the intricate iron gate or whatever it is. Here’s mine this week: https://grahamsisland.com/2025/03/11/the-numbers-game-63/
