The Numbers Game #71, May 5, 2025. Come Play Along!!

Welcome to “The Numbers Game #71”  Today’s number is 192. To play along, go to your photos file and type that number into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find that include that number and  post a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day. If instead of numbers, you have changed the identifiers of all your photos into words, pick a word or words to use instead, and show us a variety of photos that contain that word in the title.This prompt will repeat each Monday with a new number.       I viewed that at an Oxxo next to a service station..So fun. They were doing some construction and one of the workers hung his helmet on the statue. I have written a story about that seahorse. I’ll try to find it and put a link here.

      Here is the story I wrote about how I came to possess this little dried seahorse. It is told from the point of view of the man who gave it to me. I would see him on the beach where I walked in the pre-dawn to avoid the sun. I would walk a few miles up the beach before anyone else was up and about so when I first saw him walking toward me with the machete, I veered out into the surf, trying to avoid contact. Eventually, however, this is how the story ended! I’ve now made him a character in a book combining a number of stories of different places I’ve been in Mexico, blending them into one place. It’s in a box along with the dozens of other books/stories begun but not finished.
