Welcome to “The Numbers Game #73” Today’s number is 194. To play along, go to your photos file and type that number into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find that include that number and post a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day. If instead of numbers, you have changed the identifiers of all your photos into words, pick a word or words to use instead, and show us a variety of photos that contain that word in the title. This prompt will repeat each Monday with a new number. If you want to play along, please put a link to your blog in comments below. Here are my contributions to the album.

Is that you in the wheelbarrow? I love seeing your boxes of treasures and at least one Morrie

Yes. My sister was 11 when I was born and luckily my folks had given her a camera, so I was her model for the next 7 years or so. She had fun coming up with poses and I guess I always complied.

But most of these stories and poems about my childhood were totally due to the photos that made me remember.

I think this is the only time we ever saw each other. She died soon after. My mother took us to Junction City Kansas to meet her.

I still have most of them. Can’t believe how many things I collected to use in my retablos but haven’t had the time to make any for a few years.

I had forgotten about it until I visited my niece and saw it hanging on her wall. Evidently my sister took it when my mother died and then my niece took it when my sister went into a care facility. I was glad someone preserved it. The other gorgeous quilts my grandmothers made seem to have vanished.

What a wonderful group of photos! Again, the children, the dogs, the flora, the vintage, the art; and the pics of the bins for the collage-making. Love! ~Ed.
