About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

Looks like a painting. What a beautiful place to live. To sit there and admire the beauty while reading my Bible in the mornings would be so lovely, Judy! What a way to start the day with praise for colors, flowers, and living in such wonderful surroundings. You are blessed!

It is beautiful here, Regina..especially during the months of lots of rain. Must get and post photos of the hibiscus and other flowers. This is my lazy day. Feels so good not to have to go anyplace or do any scheduled thing.

I have my house fumigated every 3 months..no more cockroaches. They spray around doors and windows..usually outside. If you put plugs or screen in your drains.. that should take care of it. I know. They are disgusting.

Judy, I pay for the treatments too! I also spray my own but the rain has been so bad lately I think it doesn’t matter. I am going to cancel our pest control since we are moving even though the house will still be ours. We do keep a plastic cup in our shower drain just for that purpose.
