Welcome to “The Numbers Game #86”. Today’s number is 208. To play along, go to your photos file folder and type that number into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find that include that number and post a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day. If instead of numbers, you have changed the identifiers of all your photos into words, pick a word or words to use instead, and show us a variety of photos that contain that word in the title. This prompt will repeat each Monday with a new number. If you want to play along, please put a link to your blog in comments below. Here are my contributions to the album.

Thanks Judy. Your photos are extremely colourful. Here are mine this week https://wrookieschu.com/2025/08/18/the-numbers-game-3/

Nice photos Judy! Are these your cats?

They are, Sadje. Kukla, Fran, Ollie and Roo. Only Kukla and Ollie are left now, though, sadly.

I’m sorry. Losing a pet is hard.

Me, too, but I don’t believe in penning cats in. I live on the top block of a community built on a mountainside and so just undeveloped mountain above me with trails and some crops..So they can roam if they wish. I guess it was the roamers who eventually never made it back but that is nature’s way. Kukla and Ollie roam the neighbors’ backyards but that is pretty much it. The neighbors like it because they chase the squirrels away!

One thing I’ve noticed about cats is that when they are inside- they long for outside and when out, they want to come in.

I was on the terrace of a seaside restaurant and that little girl’s parents were at an adjoining table. She got away and climbed up the stairs of the house being built next door and I snapped this before her daddy caught her. I love the photo, too.

The first one takes the biscuit – it is a pity she would have been unable to bite it for a while

Ha. I love that photo, too. Had to move it up to first place. The delight on her face is catching!

I love all the photos that appear in your numbers Judy. This week is no exception. It is a journey through the world of your life with people, places and stuff.

As memory fades, photos remain!!! Even of my youth, what I mainly remember are events my sister caught on her camera.

It is good to have those childhood photos. We never had a camera so not many photos of my childhood to evoke memories

Not many of my sisters, either, as my folks didn’t take photos either. They were too busy. I remember seeing one of those old upright cameras and there are a very few of my family before I (and my sister’s camera) arrived.

I actually have my families old Box Camera but it wasn’t used much.
My godfather had a camera and probably took photos of me when we went out and about but I don’t know what happened to his possessions when he passed. He was a bachelor and only one brother and they didn’t get on.

You have some fantastic shots here, Judy. Have you digitized your older film shots as well?
