About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

Since I am not living in the U.S., I might have some wrong thoughts about the situation there. But please allow me one question:
How are the people reacting in general with this situation, which seems to me the beginning of a dictatorship?
Is there any protest like when police shoot a black human?

My niece who lives in a town very close to Minneapolis says people there are enraged..as am I and I’m sure hundreds of thousands of Americans. When will decent Republicans seize back control of their party from this madman? It is like being attacked from within.

Other than having to go up for once a year medical check to get my prescriptions, neither am I, although I’m longing to see friends in California and perhaps S.D. for a school reunion. (Home state of Kristi Noem.)

You don’t live in the States but you are American. I have no family ties whatsoever in the U.S. My boyfriend can make the trip up coz I ain’t going down 😉

Are you Canadian? Don’t blame you, for sure. My Canadian friend made sure to wear his Canadian shirt that said, “Canada is not for sale!” while he was visiting me here in Mexico. Lots of Americans and Canadians here who share that opinion––including me. Nor should Greenland or Venezuela be!!!!

That I am! And no, dammit… we are not even close to desiring to be any part of the States. *Shudder*.
And no, absolutely not Greenland nor Venezuela, either. Or any other country that grubby-fisted Felon-in-Chief wants.
