Walk this way.
Kenya, 1967, Tsavo Game Preserve. Our bus had tipped over and thus we walked!
And, in spite of the fact that there had been only a few sprinkles early on during our walk,
Finally, I walked back across the square to the side entrance of the Casa Cultural.
Time to go, Grandma. Here’s your walking stick!
I know how to walk! I’m gonna walk my own way.

Me, at age 2, journeying into inner spaces.
Another inner journey.

Home Traveler

Alone, or with the teeming throng,
I go on journeys short or long.
Walking by choice in foreign places,
I study unfamiliar faces.
But when I finally go to bed,
I journey farther within my head,
those trips to town forgotten while
I journey mile after mile.
Eschewing trips to foreign places,
I journey into inner spaces.

    Judy,

    The rainbow photo was just what I needed today. We are preparing to spend eight weeks in Portugal.. We are scouting a home there. I am so excited. My husband’s daughter in Portugal is excited for us to move there, but she doesn’t want us basically in the same city, a sentiment that I share, because my poor husband would be in her house every day with his grandchildren, if he could. I like to travel so much, and I am grateful that after the fall in Vienna last year and back surgery in November that we can still enjoy traveling the world.

        Keep a notebook by your bed and write them down asap. You can also plant the idea in your mind just before you fall asleep that you will remember and record them. A hand-held recorder by the bed can work also. The more you practice remembering the better it gets.
