Welcome to “The Numbers Game #116. Today’s number is 238. To play along, go to your photos file folder and type the number 238 into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find that include that number and post a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day. If instead of numbers, you have changed the identifiers of all your photos into words, pick a word or words to use instead, and show us a variety of photos that contain that word in the title. This prompt will repeat each Monday with a new number. If you want to play along, please put a link to your blog in comments below.

The pretty yellow mantis caught my eye first, then I admired the view on the last picture of the gallery.
This is what I found for my gallery today:

Your link brings me back to my blog, not to yours, Marina. I did find your blog and enjoyed the photos, although I don’t think I found ones posted for The Numbers Game..No problem as there were plenty to enjoy and you piqued a memory! I had a Tom Thumb typewriter when I was little. I’m fairly sure. Perhaps that was a leadup to all the time I spend on the computer now!!

They do the same for me, Esther, when I give myself permission to go down to enjoy them. I’m trying to do this more often.

It should come as no surprise that the mantis and spider photos are my favorites! Also love the dog and ball conundrum, and the man with the dog by the car – “2. Place dog in car. 3. Close car door.” Here’s mine this week: https://grahamsisland.com/2026/03/17/the-numbers-game-116/

The man with the dog is my next door neighbor Sergio and the dog is his friend’s. He is dogsitting. Morrie is trying to decide whether it is worth jumping into the pool to get the ball. He also knows how to paddle the water to get it to come to him.

I liked the expression on the faces of both Sergio and Morrie!
