Above is a Screenshot of my Facebook page and what is happening re/ Meta AI. When I tried to post photos replying to a “Green” prompt, this is what appeared instead.
Help!!!! MetaAI has taken over my Facebook page. It is refusing to post any of my blogs which I usually post there, is erasing all my old blog posts and just replacing them with a string of inane questions from Meta AI. This is crazy. Has AI taken over the world? Is this happening to anyone else? Check out my Facebook Page and see if you can see this happening. Surreal.

Yes.. I’ll send you a printed copy when I’m in the states in July..It would take 2 to 3 months to get to you from Mexico. I get Xmas cards in March. It will have a big chunk missing in the middle as I haven’t written it yet but you can at least give advice on what to reveal at the beginning and also the ending..If I use the ending I have written, I’ll have to have an “Afterwards” explaining what was hinted at in the opening. Hi, Ann. It looks like everyone can see my posts on Facebook except for me.. I just see AI’s inane questions. The last one is posted 4 times because I couldn’t see it so kept posting it. I don’t know if I’ll ever find the answer. I tried messaging you on Facebook but it wouldn’t go through, either.

I can see your posts. Your Green post is on your FB page 4 times Those inane questions are on other posts as well but only since 14th June.

I’ve had other issues. Like continually getting asked if i want to add this or that feature, odd additional pages added. Just generally so much distraction that I’ve stopped using it at all, except for the page that the business I work for runs. I’d gladly never use it again. They’ve trashed it.

Thanks, Lou. I like it because it is my only connection to the town I grew up in and people I knew there..Now that has vanished as well, I guess.

That’s a shame. Sometimes a product is best in its simplest form, and attempts to improve or elaborate are misguided.

I absolutely agree. I wish they’d keep a version as is for those of us who cannot keep up with its ever-changing but not necessarily ever-improving machinations. It’s like a car that is so loaded with extras that you can no longer figure out how to drive the damn thing.

It’s now back to normal except for Meta Al censoring comments people make and blocking them all.

Yes. AI has taken over the world. I’m close to deleting FB. It offers nothing but ads and more hassle. It’s frustrating isn’t it?

There are certain people I’ll totally lose touch with if I quit Facebook so I’ll struggle through. Everything is falling into the AI pit. I hate it!!!

I hear you on losing touch with some people. It is good for family and local friends and also for local businesses. I couldn’t keep up with ways to avoid the onslaught of ads and other b.s. on there.
