My New Book Fish Feet Now Available on Amazon!!

Wouldn’t it be neat if fish had feet? This is the question considered in this fourth humorous rhymed children’s storybook written by Judy Dykstra-Brown and charmingly illustrated by Isidro Xilonzóchitl. Kids from 2 to 8 and beyond will enjoy this book, but nonreaders need not wait to recruit a reader to enjoy the book, for the words to the story are also presented as the sung lyrics of a song either accessed by means of a QR code on the front of the book or by directly connecting to Youtube. Music by Christine Anfossie is arranged, sung and recorded by Becky McGuigan. (If you want to hear the book sung, enlarge the QR code above and click on it with your camera, click on Youtube and lend an ear!!!)

HERE is the Amazon link.

If you get the book, I would appreciate reviews here and on Amazon. If you just listen to it making use of the QR code, I’d appreciate knowing what you think as well.

Bruce Bishop’s “Go Write Ahead” Interview with Judy Dykstra-Brown

To order my newest book, If I Were Water and You Were Air, go HERE.  But please note: Amazon says the book’s readership age is 16-18. This is an error. It is appropriate for readers age 16 to adults of any age. I’ve also tried to correct a few other typos in the book’s description on the sales page, but as of this date, Amazon has not corrected them.

You can read more about Bruce at his website HERE.

Hot off the Presses

My new book “If I Were Water and You Were Air” is hot off the presses. You can buy it in soft cover or ebook HERE.
Like water that nourishes life or brings destruction, love can be both a blessing and a curse. This memoir in verse spans five decades and three countries with poems that reflect on love, loss and life’s complexities, drawing from personal experiences and emotions. “How many loves, senora?” my helper in Mexico asked me wistfully, during my first months after my move to Mexico. “Oh many,” I had answered. “I was nearly 40 when I married and I had traveled the world,”

If you’d like to hear 10 of the poems now, capture the the QR code in the upper right of this cover with the camera on your phone. Double click, and It will take you to Youtube. Click the youtube rectangle on your phone and then the “tap to unmute” rectangle that then appears on your phone.  You’ll hear me reading 10 poems  from the 105 pages of  poems in the book. You can do this from the image here..or by doing the same to the cover of the actual book.
