Texture makes use of shape, form and light to create itself.
The simplest of objects can reflect the most intriguing of shapes.
Contrast between shape and form, backlit by light, can provide surprises. I never could figure out what was sticking out of this seagull’s head but it was attached! I had images of a confrontation with a porcupine.
Shapes need not be geometric and ordered to be intriguing.
