What are you doing at midnight? Whatever it is, take some photos. Write a few lines. Scribble a poem. Sketch us a sketch. Write a song. Dance a dance. Cook us a midnight treat, mix us a twelve o’clock cocktail. Whatever you are doing at midnight, post it on your blog and share it with us by posting a pingback or making a link back to my comment section..
These are my actions in the hour leading up to midnight on Mar 13, 2021 in San Juan Cosala, Jalisco, Mexico. (On Lake Chapala near Guadalajara.)
Initially, I was fussing over the succulent wall, that I’d changed yesterday, again switching things around. (Click on photos to enlarge and read captions.)
The original wall, after the removal of the big jade plant and addition of the new planter down below, seemed just not to work.
Tonight’s solution was to remove the planter on the left and substitute a lava stone molcajete with two carved stones inside to break up all the rectangular shapes. .
Long shot of the nudged wall. There will be a large fern in the empty flower pot on the floor, in the middle.
This is what was changed..this stone dish containing two large carved stones. The stone on top–the head –was carved by my husband Bob. The one with the foot impression on one side and a hand on the other was carved by a friend.
alcoatl “sculpture” in the spare lot.
And by 12:10, a Skype message to Forgottenman. My energy was shot! Early to bed for me without completing this post, which I had already concluded was too boring to post. .
But, heeding his advice, I published it today, hoping it would draw some more interesting posts from you all. And yes, the switchover to Daylight Saving Time will affect me as Mexico won’t switch over for another couple of weeks, so my meeting with Chad the tech guy will occur an hour earlier for me. Confusing living between two worlds.
Now, what are you doing at midnight?
