I knew as the garage doors closed that I should have gone back for my camera! I had to borrow my daughter-in-law Debbie’s phone to snap this shot.

There has to be more of a back story than that! Lovely rubbish!

If these roses could speak, what secrets they could tell.
This picture reminds me of a quote.
“Sometimes the strongest among us are the ones who smile through the silent pain, cry behind closed doors, and fight battles no one knows.” Author Unknown.
I agree, great shot but sad picture.

Wonderful find for flowers. They are looking old, but I usually don’t throw them out yet. 😀

I love this! I conjured up a backstory and put it on my blog:

This photo reminded me of a post on my blog, http://www.allinadaysbreath.wordpress.com called Five Roses and How they Grew (or not). These roses in your blog are still so lovely, and it says so much about how we fail to honor the consciousness of plants. Beautiful photo, and such a shame that they are in the trash when they still possessed so much life.

Anne, I couldn’t find the piece you described, but I read “A Day in the Life of a Child,” and loved it..
