Isn’t that hard to figure out? The leaf is lying on a perforated metal bench and the colors are from the ground beneath it. When I first saw it I couldn’t figure out what it was, either. I thought the bench must have had tiny reflective surfaces reflecting the trees above, or perhaps were inlaid with colored glass. Short memory. I’d just taken the photos that morning.
Believe it or not, I wondered about inlaid reflective surfaces, but had actually figured out that it had to be through perforated metal! I didn’t get the bench, but no perspective for that. It makes a neat shot — I really like the offset for the leaf!
Oh that last leaf, the last flower is really saying goodbye (fortunately only for some months!) Love the way you displayed it and added it to All Seasons!
