I took this photo across the street in front of my neighbors’ house. I think it is an azalea, but if you know differently, feel welcome to expose my ignorance.

About lifelessons
My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

It’s not an azalea at least not any variety I know. Maybe a begonia, but that is only a guess. Nonetheless, it’s gorgeous đ đ

That looks more to me like a gladiola. But I’m not an expert…

It’s hard to know without the rest of the plant — leaves are often the real clue!
