Hitting 10,000–Prize Winner!!!

Tamara Mitchell is the winner. She wrote a comment shortly before and immediately after my blog view count hit 10,000. (For some reason, it jumped from 9,999 to 10,009 shortly after 10:30 a.m. without showing any of the numbers in between!) Tamara, you have your choice of any of my books listed on my blog or a personal poem written about whomever or whatever you wish. Congratulations, and thanks for playing!!! (It is coincidence that this 200th blog entry coincides with my 10,000 viewing.)

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

I am SO amazed and happy that I won! I already own Prairie Moths and love it. I think I’d like a poem. You know about my life for the past few decades and the past couple of years…and who knows what the future will hold? I will be reading the Grief Diary some day soon, but I can buy it on my own. Thank you so much for this and congratulations for reaching 10,000 viewings! I read every one of your posts.

Hi Tamara. I’m happy you won, too! I need for you to touch on some highlights of your life and some specific details. I don’t know much about you before you came to Mexico and know only that you lived in Ashland for awhile and now in Bend? Maybe it would be easier if you had a friend you know well tell me some anecdotes about you! I know you like gardening, that you just sold your truck, that you thought you would move to Mexico but changed your mind, that you are one of my most loyal readers. What else??? You can either send me a personal message on Facebook or email me the info, but I need specifics…Or—Sock Talk is also fun—a Christmas story written very much for adults as well as kids and illustrated by Isidro Xilonzochitl. Or Agave Marias, an anthology of stories, poems and essays by 10 Lake Chapala Women writers, myself included. oxoxoxJudy
