Hurricane!!!
When clouds obscure
the light of day
in a certain manner
we start to pray.
It may bring rain
it might bring snow
it might bring wind
to blow and blow.
Small animals
desert this world
they know the dangers
of air unfurled.

These are stunning. The swirling clouds, the light, the color, everything. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for giving me a chance to use them, Marilyn. If there is a “Snow” prompt, I’m prepared as well!!!

Perfect photos and poetic description of an impending storm. I am from Florida so I understand the fearful expectation.

Animals tend to be better weather predictors than meteorologists… It’s bad that animals can’t predict three to seven days in advance?
