Orange Bougainvillea: Cee’s Flower of the Day, 8/27/15
This is my very favorite color of bougainvillea. It changes in color within the same plant from pinkish to orange to gold. I believe it depends on the amount of sunlight it gets, but I haven’t really researched it so that is opinion only.
Which of the below treatments of the same photo do you prefer?
More gorgeous flowers here. Dahlias and Black Eyed Susans! http://ceenphotography.com/2015/08/27/flower-of-the-day-august-27-2015-black-eyed-susan-and-dahlias/

I love the vibrancy of photo #2 and #3 (they look like to be the same photo, but I’m still wiping the sleep out of my eyes… lol) Beautiful photos, as always!

I haven’t gone to sleep yet. 4:23 a.m. here!
And I just realized I left my favorite photo off the “T” post. Just added it. The only difference between second two photos is the background. One is blacked out.

I love bougainvilleas. I remember at one point when I was growing up we had a red one, but it didn’t live for very long which was disappointing! I love how stunning they look, but they also look so frail and brittle.

They like to be neglected. I watered mine too much in CA and it got sparse, but when I forgot about it, it loved it.

I love bougainvillea apart from the thorns. Red is my favourite though.http://irenewaters19.com/2013/12/08/friday-floral-foto-red/
and I was very proud of this neglected specimen.
