On the Road to Tapalpa

For miles and miles, the fields are full of wildflowers. These pictures were taken in October, when the flowers were at their height of bloom.

Such exquisitely beautiful flowers! Thanks for the comments on my blog, and for this glorious effusion of color here!

I just tried to enter it again and it said it was private…Strange. I’ll try again.

Wish you could see it. It is absolutely impossible to imagine how beautiful it is. I have other pictures from this trip, when I took my gardener and housekeeper and their families, and one other when I took my sister and friends. And, I’m going again this year as Yolanda’s youngest has never seen it and Oscar was still a baby the last time I took him. I’ll show his picture with flowers tomorrow. String this out a bit.

The last time I saw a field of wildflowers with so much color, it was in the spring in the Galilee. Different colors, but similar effect. Breathtaking.

Wow. Spring in Galilee. What a romantic notion. Reminds me of Sunday School when I was little. The flowers are breathtaking and go on for miles on either side of the road. The thing I like is the variety of types and colors. The hillside above me is covered with cosmos every year, but all the same color.
