“If Only”–Third Time Around

It has gotten sort of intiguing to see how many times the same prompt will come around. This is #3 for this one. To see the poem “If Only I Could Play Guitar,” go HERE.

This morning, it is “if only” I could get through to my doctor’s office … How long can I be on hold??

I experienced that trying to talk to insurance, health care, social security and other agencies after Bob died. There were days I was on the phone for 5 hours at a time, or that I held for hours only to be cut off when the office closed. Maddening. Did you get your dr. finally?

Well you don’t need any lessons in writing poetry that’s for sure. I have the same desire to learn guitar and I think I can learn to play just by owning one because there are a lot of websites to help with that. Anyway…

Thanks, Jackie. I played guitar in college and afterwards…mainly just with friends and kids in the neighborhood, but I only know about 7 chords and just adapted every song to the notes I knew…Ha. Haven’t played in at least 25 years. Thanks for your kind comment. Judy
