Nice painterly processing 🙂 I used to grow these in pots in New York during my “crazy plant lady” phase, but I don’t think they ever actually flowered for me. They were just green succulants. Apparently they are happy in your climate, but indoors in New York didn’t agree with them so much 🙂

I had them in Wyoming, too. But these are so lush–like they have triple blooms. The blooms are tiny–about 1/2 inch across so blowing them up this much, the focus isn’t very good. That’s why I was playing around and trying to make them look painterly which you of course understood! I know you went through this phase as well…back in your photographic adolescence???? What are you doing for Xmas? I’m excited to see my sister and my two oldest best friends…Most long time, I mean. We were college roommates and have stayed close all these years. They know all my secrets and I think I know theirs–unless they’ve been holding out on me!! Feliz Navidad…You’ll probably hear this a few more times in the 10 days to come. You are one of my oldest blogging friends. (By that I mean long-time because I know of course what a young thang you are.) Luckily, no more than a few flicks of the fingers on the computer away!!
