Rough Life

People associate the sea with smooth sailing, but it has its roughs as well:  wood,  coral, tiny crabs, spined iguanas and even the ocean tides themselves.  Rough life.

      Thanks, Miriam. I’ve been watching three large logs float in and out with the tide up and down the beach for weeks. This one seems beached now, as does one large one very near the house I’m renting. This on really got banged up as you can see by the fraying.
