“Gap-toothed she was and sure to please!” (One of my favorite lines from The Canterbury Tales! He is describing the bawdy wife of Bath.)

I loved that line too. And oddly, my husband has always found that little gap in front teeth very appealing. It must be a guy thing.

It designates a highly sexed woman, you know! (Or so Chaucer said.)

Great photos. Love the line (I have a gap too, hmm!)

I had just a little gap at the top of my two front teeth. When the dentist made two crowns there, I had to have him open a space between them at the top because for a lifetime, I’ve been sucking air between those two teeth and I felt claustrophobic without that space there!

How funny is that.

What is that structure in the last picture, Judy? Is it somewhere used for drying clothes?
No gap in my front teeth I’m afraid. In fact, I had to have teeth removed as my mouth was too crowded (so my Dentist told me).

It is a men’s room. See the commode sitting center room? You flushed with a bucket of water! Luckily, the ladies room, although exactly the same, had more of a privacy curtain, complete with ruffle! This restaurant called “Moscas” (Spanish for “flies” as in the insect) had been blown apart by Hurricane Patricia so they just reassembled it from the pieces.

What an incredible story. Great to hear that life goes on no matter what nature throws at us.

Hugh, since I know you are online now, can I ask a huge favor of you? Can you look at my most recent posting (of Cee’s Compose Yourself Challenge) and see if when you click on the photos to enlarge them if you can see the commentary underneath? When I view them they are a tremendous mess with commentary behind the pictures where it can’t be read. I know you are busy, but I’ll owe you one if you’ll do me this favor.

Apologies for the late reply, Judy. I must have switched off the computer just as your message was coming through. We’ve been out for dinner.
It works absolutely fine when I hover my mouse over each photo. The commentary comes up underneath and can easily be read. However, if I click on any of the photos, to enlarge them, then I’m afraid no commentary comes up.

Thanks, Hugh. It seems to be working now. So frustrating when WordPress goes schizo!!
