This was a door in my friend Audrey’s house that was bare wood––pretty worm-eaten. I applied 4 or 5 layers of paint to achieve this aged effect. In the background is a party in full swing that I’ll post pictures of at some later date.

Thanks, Jean. It was fun. I also did her fireplace and her bannister. I couldn’t paint a portrait to save my life, but I love texturing and doing faux finishes and aging. May come in handy in my old age if I could reverse the process and make old look new!
