Pentas Star Flower–Flower of the Day April 19,2016

 I photographed these flowers at the lovely Chantli Mare Beach Hotel near La Manzanilla.  I used to grow them in California and I believe they are pentas star flowers.

      I raised them in CA, but it was long ago. I thought I didn’t remember the name but then “star flower” flashed across my mind and many Google images later, there it was!! All of the other star flowers have five petals but, indeed, this one variety has four. Success!!!
