I strung these solar LED lights next to my pool and didn’t realize until that night when I was sitting at my desk which looks out on that scene that they are in the shape of a duck or a swan! I’ve been enjoying them for a few months. They are totally solar and come on only in the dark, except–no longer! When I was trimming the trees, I inadvertently cut through the copper wire.. Sob. No more LED fairy/duck lights.

Thanks, Cee.. I’m so sleepy today I have to go to see what photo it is. I must say I think the oddball is my favorite prompt, so it is especially gratifying to win your approval on this one!! ;o)

Sheesh, how could I forget this one? Mourning its demise still. But, I produced another duck today..a photo, but hardly appropriate for a photo prompt. It’s another concrete poem which coincidentally is a duck as well…Thanks, Cee, for the selection. Always such a good surprise.

Yes.. I wondered if you’d discover that. My piece for Oddballs in Cee’s blog last week was also of a duck of a different sort.

Dumb dumb me.. You meant the lights in the shape of a duck. I also did a poem in the shape of a duck today. Here’s the URL: https://judydykstrabrown.com/2016/06/19/aimless/
