Missed it! 500,000 Views and Counting.

IMG_7407This morning when I got up at 6:30 to cook for tonight’s dinner guests before the day got too hot, I was 128 views from the 500,000 mark.  Reading it instead at 28 views off the mark, I constructed a post that was a sort of countdown.  Once posted, I noticed my mistake so took it down, thinking I’d post it again after 100 views.  I went to buy flowers and shop for beer and other groceries and returned to find I’d passed the mark without notice, let alone fanfare. Nonetheless, it is nice to pass the half million mark. Believe me, I could have never predicted I’d be this dedicated to a blog when I started out four years ago plus. Thanks for helping me get this far.

    Congratulations 🙂 It’s a great milestone!

    Now, I’m waiting for the million mark now, but since the half million, I am less jazzed by numbers than I used to be. I’m mainly glad I still get readers!

            I can’t find it, but I think it’s okay to do without, especially since mine is a business website so it doesn’t matter how many people see it really. Either there are clients or not, but showing how many views it has had doesn’t reflect that.
