Is this a vinca? Is it just growing out of a crack in the wall? Talk about persistence!
Nothing green here this morning — our grandson is plowing snow in our driveway as I write. 🙂

I don’t know what it was. It was growing out of a tiny mound of door–probably over a crack in the tile right in front of a door.

I just love the contrasting colours. Speaking of which, I’ve just posted a couple of colourful dog mosaics. It’s the latest post on my home page so easy to find. 🙂

Love it! Reminds me of the heroic plant quote by George Carlin. It has a swear word in it, or I would share it. 🙂

Now, that is what I call determination and perseverance. Lovely flower.

Life finds a way! – I can confirm it is a Vinca, i have one exactly like it (as well as 3 different ones.)
Mine are in pots but i had a lobelia seedling that flowered growing from a crack in the concrete at the base of my back stair that showed the same single minded determination against the odds.
How it got there i haven’t a clue, my lobelias are nowhere near the spot.

I love it when one pops up in an impossible spot. Somehow renews my confidence in the world.
