   I was surprised to discover how many people are really living in their favorite place. I am happy here, too, though i have loved every place I have lived … except Long Island. I didn’t love Long Island. But I’ve loved all the other places.

   It’s beautiful, Judy! Mine is a little waterlogged today, with our rainstorm hitting us around noon today. It’s supposed to begin to dry out tomorrow.

       It’s evolved over the 16 years I’ve been here. It was virtually empty when I moved in, other than a few hibiscus bushes and small palm trees.
