When I first watched The Exorcist, I had to call my sister and keep her on the phone as we each watched from our own house. Later, I put the receiver on the pillow beside me and we stayed connected until I fell asleep. I was in college!!!
For Matt’s prompt: How do you get to sleep after watching a scary movie?
The Exorcist was perhaps the second movie (after The Graduate) that made me realize the power and importance of cinema. I learned to look more closely at movies from this film. Seminal for me.

Ha ha ha….no one would take me – they all knew I’d be too scared. Still haven’t watched it.

Yes, a tension that over-powers, but the one that unnerved me was the Amityville Horror, I found that so tense.

Just wondering – are you putting all of these entries together in a book? You should.

Thanks, Colleen. I’ve thought of it, but don’t want to take the time away from writing…I need an editor to pick them!!!
