The last single dandelion in the yard. Brave little perky soul.

Beautiful Macro Judy!
It was only last week i realised dandelion flowers have little serrations like a comb at the end of their petals – i always thought they were just rounded! – only took me 55 years to figure that one out. 😉

I didn’t realize their petals were so wide. I think I’d always seen them rolled into a little tube individually. They are really quite beautiful.

Up close – true.
From a distance they are a disaster waiting to explode on my lawn that i need to rip up and bin before they can! 😉

This is a beautiful macro, Judy. I don’t feel so bad after reading the comments — I knew the petals were wide and had serrated ends, but didn’t realize how pretty the centers are! It’s really a very pretty little flower.,

I have found I just need to look closer and there is beauty in most things.

And I often say that my camera helps me to see that beauty.
