Lone tree with electric power pole, almost certainly there to provide power to an irrigation pump for that farm field.

That really is a lone tree — has that field flooded this year?

I don’t think so. They grow rice nearby so any flooding would be intentional.

Thanks, Derrick. I’ve taken hundreds of photos of trees since I’ve been in the states but for the last week I’ve been trying to get everything uploaded to icloud and it has frozen my photo editing on my computer..Just crazy. I only have access to very recent photos and it takes minutes to do what used to take seconds. Sure hope this isn’t the norm. Home today and perhaps things will straighten out, but probably not as my upload speed is really slow there.
