The crowd at the bi-monthly reading on the Nueva Posada terrace was about 1/3 the usual number of readers and listeners. The wind off the lake didn’t help to mitigate the already cold weather, and as the reading progressed, there were fewer and fewer listeners and less and less to see of the ones who remained. I was the last to read, and although the comments were positive, they were few and far between. What was first and foremost on everyone’s mind was to go into the restaurant for a warm meal. And you thought Mexico was always warm???
What we do for love. (Damn that looks cold).

All relative. Friends in colder climes laugh and shake their heads. I bet you would have stuck it out, though.

Judy i’ve Discovered cold is relative to what you are used to. The first year we were here I didn’t wear a cardigan and gave my cold clothes. Now I wish I had my overcoat. Have a happy holiday season. Cheers irene

LOL You are probably right about thin skinned but I know it sure does become more fragile.

Last week we enjoyed unseasonably mild weather, with temps above freezing day after day. It felt like March, compared to the -40 we often get between Christmas and New Year’s. So maybe El Nino puffed the chilly your way. 🙂
